Well, after being burned once, for the first time, I've come out much wiser. I'm at the point where it doesn't bother me any more, so now I can step back and say "What the heck was I thinking?". I'm not bitter at all, but now I find the need to vent my frustrations and talk about it. In the past months, I've found out what wonderful and loving friends I have, not that I didn't know it before.

Call me impatient, I know I'm so young, but I can't wait for the day I'll find the perfect One. Somebody who loves me unconditionally, and shows he loves me so much just by taking the time to call me on the telephone and tell me so. Somebody who makes an effort to show he cares for me, and find out what's going on in my life. Somebody who wants to get to know me, my likes and dislikes, and gives just as much as I give him - it's not a one-way street. Somebody who will be faithful and give me his all, until the end. A Christian, who believes in no-sex-before-marriage, just as I do. I fully intend to remain pure until I'm married, and I don't want the temptation to even be there for either of us, before that time comes.

I'm not high maintenance. I don't care for hot cars or expensive dinners or lots of gifts. That kind of stuff doesn't impress me, it's all show. I think pizza and a movie at home is a more-than-perfect date. Even no dinner or movie, just talking and laughing together. I just want somebody to be there to share it with me.

I know it's wishful thinking, but I want to marry young. My parents married before they turned 20, and if Mama were still here, they'd have been married for 31 years this July . I know they would've been together until the end, that's how perect it was. And I guess, well, they were. They loved each other unconditionally, were faithful to each other, and had so much fun just being in each others' company. I'm not another spoiled little girl dreaming of her big wedding day, I just want to find the one meant for me and be with him until my life is over. And I hope it happens before I turn 30.
