I can NOT believe the day has already come. Just can't believe it! We've been talking about our 10-day-trip to Israel for MONTHS now, but I can't believe we're leaving tomorrow. It's surreal. I'll be sure to take tons upon tons of pictures (got a great new digital camera!) and make notes about everywhere we go... and write a nice long blog about it when we get home!We're going with a friend of ours and his family, and staying with his brother, who still lives over there. They'll be our tour guides and show us all around the country. We have no set plans, just playing it all by ear I suppose. I know I've been quite anxious about the trip but it's turning into excitement, now. I've got a new CD player that won't skip on all my CDRs, got all my CDs together (I list these two first because they're VERY important for the long plane ride, LOL), have most of my other crap packed, got a new camera, and we just got our passports a few days ago. Talk about good timing. See y'all on the 17th! |

Yes, take tons of pics! I would love to go to Israel. Be sure not to aggravate no guys wearing big, bulky jackets and rags on their heads. Just kidding. Have a great time!

Thanks Abby!! It's so awesome here. I hope you to get to come here some day, it's amazing! The only time I felt uneasy was when we were walking through Jerusalem in the Old City in the Arab part, amongst the peddlers and bazaars, but it wasn't too bad!
