A couple months ago, I was sitting at the computer and heard all this incredible thrashing noise outside the window. The awnings in here are down, so I ran outside to see what it was and saw this GINORMOUS BEAST sitting in the front yard. It was an iguana, no doubt an escaped pet, and apparently it had climbed over our wood fence. It was at least 4 feet long with 3-inch spines along its neck and spine. Every time I came into view, he'd freeze and not move a muscle. Then I'd hide behind the bushes and he'd continue to creep slowly along... he walked across the road, went up a neighbor's driveway, and disappeared down the side of their house - never to be seen again.I sent the photo to the gals and A.E. replied, "Holy crap!! That there looks like some darned good eatin'."  |

Haha. I used to have a shirt with two giant rats on the front and it said "Tastes like chicken." Heh!

He really did have AWESOME coloring. I mean, it was just SO cool. The picture doesn't do him justice at all! And Nat... he was so.. GIANT. At least 4 feet, enough to keep me at quite a distance! And I'm the one who likes to go pick up snakes and frogs...
