I have exactly 150 Lynyrd Skynyrd songs. And that does NOT include all the alternate takes (for instance, there's 11 different versions of Free Bird alone).....I'm not even gonna try to count all of them (including alternate takes and live versions). I've just ordered two more albums that I think will complete the collection, which have some very old, rare songs on them that I really like, and can't wait to have them on CD. Now the only albums I need to get are a few more live concert recordings, and I'm all set!! THEN, I need to get all Johnny Van Zant's solo stuff, and all the Rossington-Collins Band's stuff.... and all of Blackfoot's stuff.... and all of The Outlaws' stuff.... and.... Good Lordy, I'll think about all that some other time. While I'm on the subject, we bought my cousin the 20th Century Masters Millennium Collection for Christmas. But before I wrapped it, I slit the side of the shrink wrap open and scanned the CD insert because it has one of my absolute favorite pictures of the original band on the cover, and I could never find a decent version of this picture online anywhere for the longest time... But now it's mine, and he won't know anyway. Bwahaha.  |
