Every other one? Yeah. posted by: dustyjumpwings (reply) post date: 06.26.05 (6:11 pm) Reply to: aesav23 I don't think I've told anybody other than my family! I ADORED him when I was little. But it wasn't really Jeff, but his character Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. I dunno what it was... http://www.andyamato.com/images/chamberlain.jpg Even Jennifer liked him, which is strange to me now because she never really took much interest in History, or what me and Dad liked. She even read a book about Chamberlain! I was freaked out when I learned that Harry in 'Dumb & Dumber' was, in fact, the same man who played Chamberlain. I refused to believe it at first. I just wondered how somebody can go from playing such a brilliant Civil War commander, to going diarrhea and tearing apart bathrooms in his underwear on film. COOOOOOOL I've not known anybody besides Jen who liked him too! I think he was a brave and good person. :) posted by: dustyjumpwings (reply) post date: 06.30.05 (2:02 am) Reply to: Kelly He was! Wasn't he wounded something like 7 times? Sweet, you went there last year didn't you? Or was it the year before that... posted by: Kelly (reply) post date: 07.05.05 (8:13 pm) Reply to: dustyjumpwings I'm not sure if he was wounded 7 times or not... I also got William C. Oates book, and when I found out Chamberlain faced Oates near Little Round Top, that's when I wanted Chamberlain's book even more. Yes, we went to Gettysburg last Oct. it's so beautiful there! :) posted by: dustyjumpwings (reply) post date: 07.07.05 (2:30 pm) Reply to: Kelly Hey I remembered! Did you get any good pictures? I just looked it up, I was one number off - he was wounded 6 times, once almost fatally, and had six horses shot from under him. What a tough guy! I read it here, it's pretty good: http://www.curtislibrary.com/pejepscot/joshbiog.htm posted by: Josee (reply) post date: 07.08.05 (2:52 am) Jeff Daniels is on your list??? Must be the fine, bushy moustache M'Lord! Josee :D posted by: dustyjumpwings (reply) post date: 07.08.05 (9:48 am) Reply to: Josee It must be!
