Some of these are from my early teens too. I'm sure I'll surprise my friends with at least a couple of these. I was a strange one... Always liked the older ones ...and I still do.

General Patton   Indiana Jones   The Fonz (Happy Days)   Dr. Grant (Jurassic Park)

Jim Lovell (Apollo 13)   Col. Chamberlain (Gettysburg)   Sir Galahad (Monty Python's Holy Grail)   YES I had a huge crush on Steven Spielberg.

That's a lovely list and mix but where are the women?

The only one who surprised me is Jeff Daniels because you never told me about him before. Every other one? Yeah.

I don't think I've told anybody other than my family! I ADORED him when I was little. But it wasn't really Jeff, but his character Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. I dunno what it was...

Even Jennifer liked him, which is strange to me now because she never really took much interest in History, or what me and Dad liked. She even read a book about Chamberlain!

I was freaked out when I learned that Harry in 'Dumb & Dumber' was, in fact, the same man who played Chamberlain. I refused to believe it at first.

I just wondered how somebody can go from playing such a brilliant Civil War commander, to going diarrhea and tearing apart bathrooms in his underwear on film. LOL

Yep, I have a biography/journal on Chamberlain I got from Gettysburg, but I have yet to read it. I think he was a brave and good person. :)

He was! Wasn't he wounded something like 7 times? Sweet, you went there last year didn't you? Or was it the year before that...

I'm not sure if he was wounded 7 times or not... I also got William C. Oates book, and when I found out Chamberlain faced Oates near Little Round Top, that's when I wanted Chamberlain's book even more.
Yes, we went to Gettysburg last Oct. it's so beautiful there! :)

Hey I remembered! Did you get any good pictures?

I just looked it up, I was one number off - he was wounded 6 times, once almost fatally, and had six horses shot from under him. What a tough guy!

I read it here, it's pretty good:
